In 2018, they hit one-billion streams and announced their national tour, "Legends of Fall."
The name Hippie Sabotage was inspired by their fathers' initials H.S. They initially started in the Indie genre in 2005 and have gradually entered the electronica genre. Their recent EP, "Drifter" released in 2017, has introduced their audience to their evolving beats.
In 2016 at What the Festival in Portland, OR the brothers refused to exit the stage after their time slot. The incident led to the duo assaulting a security guard who were acting on the behest of the promoters.
